Born in Nice in 1984, Anthony Alberti, aka Mr. OneTeas, is a self-taught, multi-faceted contemporary artist. His specialties include graffiti, photography, painting, and sculpting—but above all, he’s a humanist artist and true activist. And his work often carries strong social messages.
Consumed by the desire to create, Anthony Alberti draws inspiration from media, political and cultural environments. Diverting images and news for the sake of his art, he offers a critical vision of society with a hint of humor and originality; he denounces the diktat of social networks, the instrumentalization of religions, the rejection of the human condition, the contempt for the environment, the reign of junk food, the outrageous lobbying, and the global selfishness.
Anthony Alberti is known to give life to obsolete materials and consumer goods. Inevitably, the objects and materials integral to our evolution will eventually go out of fashion and fall into oblivion. To denounce this ever-proliferating overconsumption, Anthony Alberti recovers and transforms these objects and materials into works of art to create a strong reaction from viewers and bring awareness to the importance of recycling.
Anthony Alberti developed his artistic talents through travels, meetings, and personal exchanges. He leaves his colorful mark on the walls and streets of many major international cities.
