Ordered Chaos
Ordered Chaos’ Glyph Paintings series draws inspiration from the rhythmic mastery of Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Nets. While Kusama’s brushstrokes flow organically across the canvas, this interpretation introduces a structured, linear approach—transforming repetition into a minimalist, color-field aesthetic reminiscent of Rothko’s meditative compositions.
Though often overshadowed by other movements, Infinity Nets remain conceptually groundbreaking, much like Jackson Pollock’s revolutionary drip paintings. Their power lies in their simplicity—a single, repeated gesture accumulating into an immersive, transcendent experience.
In Glyph Paintings, rigid, linear glyphs—symbols of order—fracture and multiply into a vast, hypnotic landscape. The work exists at the crossroads of writing and abstraction, where each stroke is both an intentional mark and a fragment of chaos. Ordered Chaos reimagines this approach through disciplined yet expressive linear repetition, creating a visual language that oscillates between control and spontaneity.
Beyond his artistry, Ordered Chaos is an accomplished pianist. Years of piano training have sharpened his precision, granting him a hypersensitivity to touch—allowing his brush to land with the same controlled intent as his fingers on the keys. His mastery of both disciplines reveals the deep connection between music and painting, where rhythm, pressure, and flow converge into a singular expression.
