GLYPH PAINTINGS: Unveiling a new visual langage

11 Mars - 31 Mai 2025

At the convergence of structure and spontaneity, Glyph Paintings unveil a new visual language-one that is both infinite and precise.

Ordered Chaos transforms the canvas into a coded field of linear glyphs, where repetition creates rhythm and structure dissolves into abstraction.  These works embrace the strict geometry of straight lines, forming a hypnotic landscape of controlled disarray.
Lines become language. Repetition becomes rhythm. In Glyph Paintings, Alex Perkins explores the infinite possibilities of structured abstraction, where precision and spontaneity coexist.
Inspired by the meditative, endless fields of Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Nets, these works replace curves with rigid, linear glyphs-symbols of order that fracture and multiply into a vast, hypnotic landscape. The paintings exist at the intersection of writing and abstraction, where each stroke feels like both a mark of intention and a fragment of chaos.
Do these glyphs form a hidden script? Or are they simply echoes of control dissolving into infinity? The viewer is invited to decode, to feel, to get lost in the meticulous, infinite expanse.
